Understanding in the abstract that "an AI agent can automate work" is one thing. Seeing specific tasks with real examples is something else entirely. Here are 5 scenarios I've set up for myself and clients.

Task 1. Responding to Clients in Telegram — 24/7 Without You

Time saved: 5-10 hours per week

This is the most common scenario. Typical client questions — "What's the price?", "How do I order?", "When will it be ready?" — take up a ton of time and come in at the worst moments: at night, on weekends, during meetings.

OpenClaw answers them for you. The agent knows everything about your business that you wrote in AGENTS.md — and responds in the style and with the information you defined. For complex requests — it passes along the manager's contact or says "let me check with the owner."

Dmitry L., entrepreneur from Kyiv: "The agent handled 40+ inquiries in the first week while I was busy with other things. Set it up in one evening."

Task 2. Daily Morning Briefing

Time saved: 30-60 minutes every day

Every morning at 8:30 AM, the agent sends you a summary in Telegram: new orders, important emails, current task status, reminders for the day. You wake up — and already know what's going on without any manual information gathering.

Configured via a cron task in OpenClaw — write the prompt once, and the agent does it every day on its own.

Task 3. Website Monitoring and Alerts

Time saved: response time goes from hours to instant

The agent checks your website every 15 minutes. If the response isn't 200 — it messages you on Telegram immediately. No dashboards, no separate monitoring services. Just a message: "Site is down, check it."

This also works for any changes: new CRM lead, new payment, competitor price change on a website.

Task 4. Lead Qualification

Time saved: 3-5 hours per week

When someone messages you on Telegram with something like "I want to learn about your services" — the agent asks clarifying questions, gathers information (budget, timeline, task type) and either responds with a standard proposal or forwards the message to you tagged as "hot lead."

You only step in when it's actually needed.

Task 5. Content Reminders and Planning

Time saved: reduces cognitive load

Every Monday at 10:00 AM the agent writes: "Today is content planning day. Here are 3 post topics based on client questions from last week." The agent knows your business and audience — and suggests relevant ideas, not random ones.

No more spending every Monday thinking "what should I write about this week."

How to Set Up These Scenarios

Each of these tasks is configured via AGENTS.md (behavior rules) and cron configuration in OpenClaw. The entire process from installation to first automated message takes one evening.
